Im thinking of booking the spanish spree for september 1rst 07. Is anyone else thinking of booking it, or is anyone already booked for it?

My friend and I booked about a month ago and we are both 26. We hail from NYC and did a Contiki trip together to Greece last year. We're pretty psyched about the trip!!

I might actually end up doing the Spanish Spree for Sept. 1st instead. Is everyone booking their flights to Barcelona through Contiki or on their own?

Is anyone planning to stay in Spain longer after the trip ends?

I am also going on the tour on Sept.1. I am planning to stay in Spain longer or maybe go to Paris. I don't know where you are from but there are good deals on Internet for the flights.

I'm in Toronto. Right now it looks like it's about $1300+ to fly to Barcelona connecting in various cities like Zurich, London or Milan.

Looking at the itinerary there's no way 2 days is enough time in Barcelona so I'm planning to go back after the tour ends in Ibiza and stay there until flying back on Sunday. I know there are plenty of cheap flights from Barcelona to other cities but I don't really want to be changing hotel rooms that often.

I am in Montreal and my flight is direct to Barcelona on the 1st and coming back from Paris on the 21st and it is less than yours. Check with Air Transat....If you need a travel agent, let me know cause I have a very good one. )

For some reason Air Transat doesn't fly out of Toronto to Barcelona on the first so that's not an option. I am going to check how much I can save flying to London first then doing a cheap flight to Barcelona. As much as I'd like to save money I'm not going to put myself through too much trouble of having to catch shuttles that takes over an hour to get back into the city or to my hotel.

Hey, so i finally got my act together and booked this tour! (although for sept 2nd...why is everyone saying sept 1st?!) jelbrow - This is my first contiki so its good to hear you both survived your last one and thought it was well worth coming back for!

I may stay on for a bit in spain too afterwards...fairly flexible with my plans for the week after!

my roomate and i are planning on booking this trip...visiting a bunch of other places... and then ending the trip in munich for oktoberfest...does anyone know of anywhere to find good deals on plane tickets from country to country?

Hi everyone. I just booked the Sept 1st tour, flying from Philadelphia to Barcelona. I have done two Contiki tours before, and part of me feels a little too old to still be partying like a rock star. But that's just because I have been working too much! I plan on spending a few days after the trip in both Ibiza and Barcelona. I booked this trip alone, but I'm really looking forward to meeting you all!
