yup, i'm sure you'll still have lots of fun travelling alone! Are you going anywhere before or after? Jocelyn and I are backpacking for 5 weeks afterwards. It's our first time overseas so we are pretty excited. Can't wait!!! Have you been on any other contiki trips or travels?

I'm staying in Athens for a couple of days after the trip ends, but thats it.  That's all the time I can get off.  This is my first Contiki trip and the first time I've ever travelled alone, but I did go to Japan several years ago.  It was amazing.  You guys are so lucky backpacking after, that would be amazing, you'll get to see so much stuff.  Do you have a plan or are you just winging it?

well we have somewhat of a plan, were staying with some of jocelyn's family friends in Italy who own an olive oil making vinyard. After that we're just kind of going where we want and winging it. Where in canada are you from? We're both from alberta.

Wow!  Sounds like you guys are going to have a great time.  I've always wanted to go to Italy.  I think that will be my trip for next year.  I'm from Alberta too, the Edmonton area.  Where abouts are you guys?

we are both from hinton about 3 hours from edmonton..thats kind of weird we all live so close to each other, considering we could be from anywhere in the world..lol

What's even weirder is that I am also from Hinton (well I moved away almost 8 years ago but I lived there 18 years before that) and I will be in Greece the same time as you girls!  I will be on the island hopping tour though.  Have fun!

hey i was just wondering if you will also be flying out of edmonton may 12? Do you know what the name of the hotel we are staying at and how you are getting from the airport to that hotel? We haven't gotten our information from contiki yet, just wondering if you have?

actually i'm flying out on may 14th.  the agent said i might miss the welcome dinner but she said its not a big deal and a lot of people miss it.  I'm not sure about the name of the hotel i haven't got my info yet either, i think it should be coming soon.  when i booked my flight she sold me a transport pass thing to get from the airport to the hotel, i think it was about $65, but she said it was cheaper than taking a taxi, although that might not be cheaper if theres 2 of you to share a taxi. 

we finally got all our info..we are staying at hotel hermes or something like that. I think we are going to take a bus or train to the hotel as that is only about 3 euros, a lot cheaper than a taxi for us. Anyways only about 3 weeks away!! See you in Greece!!
