Hey all,
Im a 17 year old girl turning 18 in a few months and i live in Perth, Australia. I am tying to plan a trip to go to mykonos resort in july/aug 07. I will be going alone and i have ALOT of questions! Im going to fly from here (perth) to London to start so i can do the Road To Athens tour and from there to stay at Mykonos Resort for 10 days (well thats the plan at the moment anyway). And then fly from Athens back to Perth. I will be leaving Perth probably the day after my 19th Birthday. ok so here come the questions.

Firstly, for all you Aussies out there, should i speand a night in London before the tour? as i am worried about staying in London on my own, But i dont want to spoil the first few days of my trip from jet lag. Are there any places close to where contiki leaves from that a lot of contiki people stay at?

Secondly, for the 15 days Road to Athens tour and the Resort time i am thinking about taking approx $4000 spending money as i probably wont do all the optional extras (I have been told that most of them are an absolute rip off anyway) Is this enough spending money?

Thirdly, Im a bit worried about going all that way on my own so is there anyone else out there thinking of going around this time as i would like to hear from a few ppl going to be there at the same time. At this stage it looks like ill be starting the Road To Athens tour on july 29 until Aug 12th and then staying at the resort from 12th Aug until the 22nd August.
Whenj is the best time to go?

Im going to be there at that time as well..14th to the 21st.... but im really stressed about how im going to get to Athens cause im only doing the Contiki Mykanos Island Hopping Tour....

I will be in Berlin/Prague area....and i can find a flight from Berlin to Athens on Easyjet but its very expensive...any ideas how i could get to Athens?

Hi Guys,
i am actually doing the european impressions tour in late july and am flying to london a couple of days before the tour starts and staying at the royal national hotel, which is where the contiki starts from, so if you want to stay anywhere in london, then that would be the best place..i will also be going to mykonos on about the 14th of august, can't wait for that, should be loads of fun..
