I did this tour in June this year and had an amazing time. Canada is such a beautiful country with lots of friendly people. I would recommend going later in June or July as the weather is warmer. I did all the extra optionals and they were all amazing and worth the cost. The accommodation is fabulous the best I have stayed in on a Contiki especially Whistler. This tour was a great way to see the west coast of Canada. I recommend spending time in Vancouver before or after your tour and if you have a chance catch the ferry to Vancouver Island and spend a night or two in Victoria.
Extra Optionals not to be missed- the horseback ride and steak fry (i think everyone on my tour did this). Helicopter ride over the Rockies (breath taking even if you are afraid of flying a very smooth ride)white water rafting and both the Gondola rides a great way to take in the view of such an amazing place.
Hope this helps
