I just did the Grand Northern in late june. It was an awesome tour.I enjoyed the 2nd half more as it was national parks which to be is a lot more serene and pure than the big cities! Welcome back! Now that you've done both sides how do you compare them? I'd like to do the GN myself so am wondering what's best about it...

Hiya!I think the 2 big tours are completely different.If anything I enjoyed the 2nd half of the Northern more than other part but the GS in still an awesome tour!I guess it depends on what u like-I chose the northern because it goes into a lot of national parks although the first half is all big cities!

What was your fave part of the GN?

What optionals did you do? Which ones would you suggest?

What was your tour group like? Was there many people on your tour??

My fave part of the northern was Yellowstone national park-it blew me away!I did all the optional apart from the trolley tour in boston.The tour group was mostly aussies but with some british, Europeans etc I had 53 people on my tour in the first half then it went down to about 40 in the second half!
