A friend and I are heading to NZ in September, and our flights dont get in till like 11pm the day before the tour starts, which means that we will miss out on the pre tour departure meeting. Is that gunna cause any problems, and also what do they talk about on these meetings?

Nothing critical. Just simple role call to see who's present and collect contiki voucher/passport/insurance info/emergency contact & any dietary or medical issues the road crew needs to be made aware of. Next day schedule will be posted in the hotel lobby.

Ive booked a tour for november. I thought there was only a tour meeting the morning of the departure. Is there one the day before??
I am leaving Auckland on the Grand Explorer tour. Thanks!

Auckland tour departures have their pretour meeting that same morning. The coach departs after lunch.
