When I get to Queenstown, I wont be doing the Jet boating, white water rapids or bungy jumping as i had a retinal tear last year and needed eye surgery. My eye doctor has told me that I am not to do these things ever coz i could risk tearing my retina again and i wouldnt want to be stuck in a NZ hospital getting my eye operated on lol

Not that i would ever bungy jump anyway....looks way to scary etc.

So what else can i do in q'town etc that doesnt revolve around extreme activities...yet thats why q'town is there, for extreme sports.

The first jump where every one watches is the Kawarau Bridge jump.

yeah a lot of the queenstown activities are pretty active orientated, its like a grown ups playground. There is tourist shops and burger joints and stuff like that in the heart of the city.

I think there was a casino there, i didn't notice to much cuz i was one of the people doing all the crazy stuff (FYI do NOT do the mad dog)

I saw a shop that rented out bikes so you could see the city. There was also horse back riding that you could do, im not sure were it went but the area is so beautiful that any of it would be great. There is alot of culture in that area im sure there is a tour for that as well.

hope that helps
