A group of us (myself, my girlfriend and two of my mates) are hoping to go on the Grand Explorer trip in January, but I've been told from our travel agent that even though there's four of us and we're all happy to share a quad room, sleeping arrangements will be broken down by gender. In other words, I won't be able to snuggle up to my missus for two weeks!
Can anyone confirm or deny this? Or maybe point me in the direction of someone at Contiki who can resolve this?
Yeah you guys would have to go in a twin room. Your mates could still go quad share, they would just get roomed with 2 other dudes. Pretty sure it is gender based, but not sure if the question has been asked?? But your girlf prob doesn't wana share with 3 guys anyways!!
not sure if the rules have changed but i went in 2007 and the first couple of night the tour guide placed us in rooms but then after that we got to choose who we wanted to go in with - and yes it was gender orientated. However im sure if u talk to your tour guide at the start they will put you in the same room together.
