I'm from SD also!! I'm doing GIH May 27-9 and than Med. highlights June 10-23. I'll let you know how it goes. I traveled Australia with contiki and had a blast. You and your girls are in for a good time. It's pretty much a non stop party and you end up making friends with people from all over the world.

It's so great to hear that you had a great time with Contiki! If all goes well on my euro trip I think my next destination will be Australia for sure!! Looks like we have the same travel interests... I would love to hear about your travels! Which Australia trip did you do and when?

I did the reefs and rainforest trip in January. It was the middle of summer for them and the weather was perfect. I did Sydney to Cairns. The tour guide said the tour is better that way. The r&r trip is the same as the beaches and reefs except they end in Cairns and we went on for three more day up to the rainforest. This was a total adventure trip for me. I did the three day sail in the Whitsundays, went skydiving in Cairns, and scuba diving in the outer barrier reef. i got to hold a baby koala, pet lots of kangaroos and made the most amazing friends. I highly recommend the tour.

we start madrid and finish rome on 5th of july - then u said you were greek island hopping????
thats exactly wat im doing staying in rome a few extra nights then i leave 8th of July to fly to athens where ill meet up with a girlfriend to go Greek Island hopping!!!!

I'm not sure which forum to continue responding too..I guess I'll stick with this one for now. It's good to hear you are excited. I just met a really nice guy in Mexico and he did this trip about two years ago and he says that it's absolutly amazing. He mentioned that there were a bunch of Aussies on the trip and that they know how to party hard. haha He also mentioned to pack light and he said the hotels get worse throughout the trip. That is the least of my worries...I hope I don't spend too much time in the room or the bus!
