hey guys...
I'm looking to stay in NY for at least a week after the tour, as well as the hotels, I have looked at staying at the "Big Apple Hostel" apparently its good. Not bad prices for the week, either.
Jax- did you mean the 13th of Feb? Cause 13th of Jan would mean only two extra days ontop of the tour...

hi Autumn Royale I can only stay to the 13rd of Jan, due to annual leave. But 2 days in NY should be fine Also welcome to Kiwigal to the group  I would definity do the airboat swamp tour in New orleans, helicopter flight over grand canyon, i think about doing the rest of the optionals closer to the date |

anyone got good deals on flights yet? most i have seen have been around the $1800 mark each to fly to LA a few days before the tour

what dals has evenyone for on flights and accomodation before./after the tour.
were stopping in tokyo both ways and our fares are costing us about $1800each.
what about spending moey over there. how much is everyone saving - as in per day for spending? i have read different reviews anything from $100-$150 AUS/day each to save.

Hi, Michelle! My friend and I are doing this tour, and we have also added the New York Explorer onto the GS. It starts the day after the GS ends so if you want to stay back in New York you should maybe do that? |

HI ALL!Well we've finally booked ourselves onto this trip! yay! I'm 22, and Scott is 23. We're from Brisbane Southside and travelling overseas for the first time. We're arriving in LA on Dec 13th and going to check out disney land and hollywood before the tour. Then after the tour we dont head home until Jan 19th, so thinking about checking out Canada and Niagra Falls but we'll see how we go. Hi all, Adu from Cape Town, South Africa. Can't wait to see what the USA got coz i'm looking for solid party after graduation. I'm on the verge of booking the LA to NY leaving 17December 2009 for 26 days. I am riding solo on this one...for now...hopefully make some friends before I get there. Hey guys. We are arriving in LA on November 28th and staying at the Hollywood Hostel (i think thats what its called, its green and mexican looking), spending a week there, then week in San Fran, then back to LA for a few days before CONTIKI... after contiki spending best part of 2wks in NY before departure on 24th january..cant wait!!
p.s: is there 2 forums for this same tour?
