Yes this is the date for the Grand Southern tour I have planned and hope goes ahead- I am still waiting from the travel agent but hopefully should hear back tomorrow (being Monday). I am doing the Wild Western tour which starts before it on 27 May, having 2 days for myself to do what i want in LA (which is probably visit Disneyland) before the Grand Southern tour starts on the 11 June. Then from there I am going to do the NY Explorer tour (because the GS finishes in NY) and then I am going to fly back to LA to do the LA Explorer tour which starts on the 11 July 2009. I am then planning on flying out late on July 14 and back to reality Frowner Full on but worth it!!!

I too have booked and deposited for this tour as well as doing the NY Explorer straight after. I am doing the Wild Western before the Grand Southern starts, as well as doing the LA Explorer if all goes ahead to finish it all off. At this time everything is confirmed so hopefully (fingures crossed) it all stays that way Smiler

I'm 27 from Sydney - I am going to stay on in NY for a couple more days after the NY explorer - I've been told 4 days is not enough - there's so much to see & do!! I read about this great Aussie pie shop in NY called Tuck Shop - I think it is a must visit (I'll be missing food from home by the time we get to NY) Wink http://www.tuckshopnyc.com/

Hi Kristie... I just had a look at the website- looks as much Aussie as I think it can get over in the USA.
I don't know about how I will go in regards to missing Aussie food as such, I'll have to wait and see. Pretty much as long as there is good coffee I'm pretty much right Smiler At least to get me going in the mornings anyway Smiler

Yay Aussie dollar up a lil bit today. Just listened to the finance report- has gone from like 60c two days ago to a close today of 68c. If only it kept going up like it was in July (to about 96c) then that would be totally awesome. I have already paid for my flight and have put deposits down for all my tours and accommodation in between, how is everyone else going with their plans???
