I will try to appreciate every minute of the tour cause I know a few days after I am back I would wish I was travelling again so I am going to try and remember that!!

I love the airport I am always the one picked to get the explosive swab!! I worry that I will just look nervous and end up getting searched! I freak out that someone with drugs on their hands will touch my bag... or my bag will rest against someones that has drugs so mine will give a reading hahaha paranoid I know but I watch watch too much Customs and Border Control!!
I really love animals too and always want to play with the cute customs dogs but at the same time dont want to attract their attention and get searched again!!

I was at the Brisbane airport once and this guy asked me to go with him as i'd been chosen to have a random bag search, I said "choice" and he asked why I was so excited. I said i'd always wanted to have that done and it would be a good story to tell my friends back home. He then said to one of his helpers just x-ray the bag. They did and I could go. I was anoyed they didn't search it.

I must always go white cause they ask if I am ok!
When I went into America last time I juts declared everything that I could think of that they might want to see and they just smiled and said Welcome to America!!

when I went last time my thumb and pointer finger on my right hand where finger printed when I passed through customs, I was told now that they do all your fingers on both hands. Is that true?

I can't even remember if I got finger printed. Was it done with a scanner? cause if it was then I think I had it done. I know once when I was flying to Toronto I had to change planes in LA and I some how got on the wrong escalator and walked outside. If i'd wanted to I could have just kept on walking and been in the US. I ended up going to the Air NZ check in desk and said I think I made a mistake. I couldn't believe how easy it happened, and this was after 9-11

yeah it wasnt ink printing.They asked if I was left or right handed and I am a rightie so that did my thumb and pointer finger. Might have just been someone winding me up about getting both hands done.

Thanks for the welcome. I've joined the facebook group. We arrive on the 23rd, our flight comes in so early in the morning, i hope i can sleep on planes lol. We're going to disneyland on the 24th & 25th then to universal studios on the 26th.
