Hi there, im a 24yr old Melbourne girl going solo on the Grand Southern Aug 19th LA to NY.
Im really excited and hopping to chat to peope who are going on this tour so it wont be so daunting when i arrive alone in the monstrosity that is the wonderfull USA!!!
My sister did this tour on her own a couple of years ago, absolutley loved it, made heaps of friends and even meet up with a few of them the following year to do the Grand Northern together.
Everyone who has done a contiki USA raves about it so im hoping this will be the trip of a lifetime!

Hi.  My name is Carly and I am a 21 year old from Brisbane.  I just made my final payment on this tour yesterday so I am now very excited.  I am flying to LA on June 14 and will be working at a summer camp 2 hours south of New York until August 16.  I will arriving back in LA on August 17 ready to start Contiki.  I am so excited and looking forward to hearing from everyone!

My name is Kevin, 25 from Melbourne and this will be my first holiday travelling by myself.

I have just had my leave approved from work for this tour so now I can officially get excited. (I was booked on the June 3 tour but couldn't get any leave). At this stage I am planning to leave Melbourne on the 17th of August and I will have the 17th and 18th in LA to do a tour or something. After the Grand Southern tour I am planning to spend about 4 days in New York.
