Hi, I'm also doing this trip and I will be arriving at LAX around 7:30am on May 2nd (providing there are no delays), so if you're traveling from Melbourne, that's where I'll be (Don't worry, I'm a bit nervous about getting around LAX as well).
There are a few Aussies, a Kiwi (Mike), and a Canadian that's going from those I know, but there might be a few more others that'll emerge now that the trip's only a few weeks away.
Anyway, drop us a line or join our facebook page (there's a link on this site on the GS May 3Rd thread), and I'll see you on the 2nd.
Hey Wayde, not long to go now. It's getting exciting, but I'm nervous at the same time. I've got most things done, all I need to do is pack. See you and explorer1096236 over there. Mike

Haha, I'm the Canadian!
I've been doing a lot of research as to how to get from LAX to the BW in Anaheim. It's a lot farther than I thought! (My flight lands at 2PM that afternoon, btw)
The good thing about the hotel is that it's literally across the street from Disneyland. AND, there are tons of shuttle companies that run from LAX to Disneyland. My advice is to hop on one of those because even if it drops you off at the gate, it's maybe a 2KM walk to the hotel.
Hey Bel, How's it going? There are a few more people on this tour, but I am unsure what they are doing at this stage? Are you staying at the Best Western in Anaheim before the tour? and by the way where are you from? I don't want to be the only New Zealander on this tour. Mike

Hey, The best way to get to the Best Western from LAX is Super Shuttle. The website is www.supershuttle.com or 1-800-BLUE-VAN. It'll run you like $17 plus tip, which is much cheaper than a cab and easier than the train. And they'll drop you off at the hotel.
Hello! I'm from Perth and looking forward to the American tour. I arrive into LAX around 5:30pm on the 2nd May and am also staying at the Best Western. If anyone wants to be a big chicken with me at the airport too just drop me a line hehe ...big shiny america here we come!
Hey, my name is Amy and I'm from Melbourne. I'm arriving in LA at noon on May the 2nd and then making my way to The Best Western. Like everyone else I'm really nervous but looking forward to meeting you all.
Hello Amy, as mentioned in an earlier post, I arrive at LAX from New Zealand at about 12.30 pm on the 2nd of May. If you would like we could meet up and make our way to the Best Western together. My travel agent booked me a ticket on one of the shuttles to the hotel. Mike. PS I am also on the Facebook page.

Hi Amy, I'm glad that I'm not the only one flying out from Melbourne.
BTW, are you getting on the flight that arrives at LAX at around 7:30am on the 2nd (after leaving at Tullamarine at 10:25) ?, because I'll be the guy in the Brisbane Lions AFC shirt if you want to catch up (So, that way you can spot me either at Tulla or at LAX).
P.S I thought that I'd wear something like that just incase
