One thing I really wanan know about america is: Do they really cut the locks on your bags if they are locked?

I agree it is much easier to find travel advice for Europe. Are you aware on any good travelogues from America tours? I can only seem to find Europe ones.

Oh well! Still plenty of time before then to find people! The travel agent convinced us to spend a few nights in Tahiti on the way back aswell which should be fun.

Theres my advice to anyone who hasnt done a long contiki before, dont plan to go to work as soon as you get back, you will need a week just to recoup from the trip, they are go go go all the way till the end lol.

Hi all, I too am planning on doing the Grand Southern tour either on April 7th or May 5th - Has anyone else noticed how they whacked the price up $600??!!!

We also noticed withthe airefare that after 31March it shoots up about $350 dollars aswell.
