I have just booked the Grand Southern leaving Los Angeles on the 9th of September. Am soo excited, leaving australia on the 7yth June to work on a camp beforehand - not too long now!

   my name is matt i'm also doing this tour also. i get into la on the 5th of september. i plan to do hollywood, universal studios and disneyland in the days i have before the tour. im 19 so i will be limited to the things i can do but i'll still have a good time. i can't wait

Hi! I was on the 2 Sept departure, but it's been cancelled so I've changed over to 9 Sept... Fingers crossed this tour isn't cancelled! I'm travelling solo and also arriving into Anaheim a few days before the tour to check out the sites. I can't wait!

Looks like I"m the lone representative from North America on this trip. I'm booked for the Southern Adventure so I'll be with you guys for the first part of the trip and then heading off to see some old friends in Florida afterwards.

So has anyone made plans for how they're going to spend their free time on these trips? We're going to be in Dallas during the Sunday Night Football game and I'm trying to get some tickets. Anyone interested?

Also, in Vegas, if you want to go see the shows and eat in some of the good restaurants, I'm told that you need to make reservations well in advance. I've been scouring Vegas.com and I'd like to make reservations for this before leaving for LA.

Anyone recieved the contiki pack yet?

Yep, that's THE Dallas Cowboys! This is a huge game and I doubt you'll be able to find decent tickets on game night. Looks like tickets on the lower bowl start at around US $115. We have some time before we get there so I'll teach y'all about the game beforehand. Maybe you guys can help me figure out this whole cricket game.

BTW, I received my Contiki pack last week. It was a slightly better quality than I was expecting, but there wasn't too much in there about the cities themselves (it's probably covered by the tour guides).
