Explorer1125776, im thinking of just saaying at the contiki hotel (Marrakech Hotel) cause i'll only stay for one or 2 nights think its something like $380 single $190 twin.

i stayed in N.Y. last year for a week and was at a place called the pod hotel (www.podhotel.com) they were only $169 US for a bunk bed room or $159 for a single. the rooms were fairly small but most in n.y. are. The place was newly renivated, clean, and in a fairly good location, close to the subway, grand central station, central park, times square and the empire state building were all easily within walking distance. If i was staying for longer id prob stay there again.

If anyone is looking for a reasonably priced hotel in NY try the Beacon. From all reports it is pretty clean and it is located close to Times square.
