You will be absolutely fine abroad, and at least everyone speaks english, so you dont have to worry about a language barrier or anything, but i woud deffo say get your passport sorted, just so its one less thing to worry about! Im on a very tight budget now so i have money to spend when i get there!

Yup, you'll be fine, and definitely coming to a English speaking country makes it a little easier, but saying that, I went to France and Poland a few years ago and it wasn't as bad as I first thought. I plan to go to Moscow next year, so that should be interesting

Money wise, ahhh I'm not stressing, will be making sure I don't over spend, but I live by "you only live once" so I plan to have a ball

yeah passport id def on the go. i've got it signed but i just have to go for the interview to have it processed.

it's not a visa we have to get but we have to do some elctronic thing online with our pasports. so it's kinda like an electronic visa.

i know i'll be fine with my money i figure 1000.00 US a week will be fine....hopefully i might get a bit more though, we'll just have to wait and see!!!

i've even got a playlist on my ipod with songs to get me pumped for america....

There are 4 of us here in the NT,two couples, on the LA-NY. We are going to Hawaii first, doing the Grande Mexico, then to San Fran, driving to LA, staying a few nights then we start the tour. We have a few nights in NY at the end and then head home via Hong Kong. We cant wait it will be awesome.

My names Mark and ive just booked this tour aswell, im 23 and also from Melbourne traveling on my own. Did a contiki tour of europe last year and had such an awesome time i had to do another one.

So far just booked the tour not too sure what my other plans are, depends how long i can get off work.
