Excellent. I found doing the Contiki New York and LA tours would be cheaper when it came to accomidation.
So will you be going on your own as well?

Hey Laurie,
We're from a small town called Deniliquin, roughly 3 hours north of Melb.
We won't be staying in NYC, as this will be the end of our 7 weeks in the USA. We're actually starting our trip over in NYC. Pretty much the tour ends and we get on the plane and fly home. But we'll be in LA for about 5 days before the tour starts..

I am taking about $1000.00 AUS dollars for every week im going to be there. I dont think i will spend anywhere near that amount but i guess its better to be safer then sorry.

Hey, iv just paid the deposit for this trip, but havent sorted out accommodation for before or after, or my flights yet! Im so excited though!

aaahhh welcome leah!!! yeah it will be an awesome tour!! i'm super pumped....i'm staying at banana bungalow in west hollywood before the trip starts (2nd to the 5ht) but i'm staying at the best western in anaheim the night b4 we leave. after the tour i'm stayiing at west end hostel in New York from the 31st to the 5th. wehre abouts are u from???

Wow you're very organised lol! Im from the UK, i see you're from Melbourne, so at least you will be used to the hot weather I will have to start sorting everything out pretty soon, i had a look on the website for the Banana Bungalows, they look really nice! Have you been to LA or NY before? |

We're still yet to book accommodation when we hit LA... we're actually going to be in America for about 3 weeks before the tour.
I'm getting off my rear end and organising our LA accommodation today. I'm praying their summer isn't as bad as ours is currently here in Australia!

yeah definetly used to the hot weather for sure. hope tit doesn't get too hot over there!!! I've never even been overseas b4 so i'm a bit nervous but i know i'll have a great time!!! I've got everything organised except my passport and visa thing. i've got my flight tix and travel insurance. and i picked up a flight frm ny to la pretty cheap. now it's just a matter of saving my money!!!
