HI there!!
I'm just on the verge of booking, Im planning a massive USA trip from mid oct to christmas time. I'm looking at that oct 31 new york tour, then going on to the NOvember 3rd Grand Southern from New York to LA straight afterwards!! then I'll be staying in LA for a coupla weeks, probrably in a hostel, then back over to New York in December coz Ive always wanted to see the big apple around christmas time!! Again, hostelling there for another coupla weeks, seeing every broadway show I can!! Im a movee geek, thus my LA stay, and a theatre geek, which is why I'm excited about New York. Im really excited but Terrified about being on my own, but reading up on contiki I know I wont be lonely. Plus the funky hostels Ive read up on are so affordable and look really sociable too!! Has anyonew done something similar?? Oh, im 25, female and from melbourne!! cheers JO |

My name Ben Im 26 and from Melbourne also. Im all booked for the Nov 3rd tour from NYC. Like you I cant wait to get along to a few shows on broadway. Ive got two months holiday and Ill be spending everyday minute travelling around the USA. I did a contiki last Nov in Qld for 16 days. I loved every minute of it and met some great friends. I'm from Ireland and taking my first contiki tour. I'm travelling on my own but hope to make some new friends and have fun. I've taken one year off work to travel. Plan to do Australia in early new year. Looking forward to meeting you on our tour.

Glad to see there are a few of us now. I was getting a little nervous when I first bought the tix because no one else was up here. Its my first time overseas but not the first contiki. I did one last year in Queensland when I had some holidays thrown at me. I had heaps of fun and met several people who I still speak to now. Im actually catching up and staying with a few of my mates from the last tour in America. They Live in Las Vegas, NY and Florida. Look forward to meeting up with you. Thanks for reply. I'm getting excited about the trip. I leave Ireland on 24th October for Ny. I will stay at friends house for a few days and hope to have a good look around NY. Well it nice to meet u, well contiki in the states are fun, was on one last year which was the LA to the bay and had a great time... Well i leave melbourne on the 23rd oct. I will be going around for two weeks with my mum and than she head back home and i start my fun... I have a big plan of the states this year as i only did the west coast last year and now i am going everywhere like LA, memphis, NYC, vegas, reno, SFO, detriot, orlando, vancouver, honolulu just some places i am going to..... I get back to melbourne on the 17th dec so i am gone for close to 2 months.... Do u want to go to disneyland when we get back to Anaheim???? well it's nice to hear from some1 new... So where abouts are u from in australia??? U will have the time of ur life, don't be scared about been on our own cause u will make a lot of friends, so what are ur travel plans??? When do u get to the states and when do u go back home??? I am also a huge fan of elvis and i am also going to memphis 2 times with contiki and on my own.... so U ARE DOING THE GRAND SOUTHERN... Great to hear from someone!!! I'm from Sydney. I'm doing the Grand Southern. I only decided to do this trip 5 weeks ago!!!! I was planning to go next year but I thought why not now. I went to the US last year with my Mum but she is incredibly jealous of me going to Graceland - I bet I'll be going back with her one day! |
