Im planning on staying in new york for about 10 nights......looking at accommodation there, its quiet expensive. do you know where about you are staying yet?

i have been to hawaii when i was younger, its so pretty and the water at the beach is crystal clear and blue... im quiet jealous your going .


i agree with vegas and new york being my fav places to see. but im also looking forward to miami, new orleans and north carolina.

I'm living in the west of germany, near to cologne (to be precise: Steinfurt). You possibly know cologne?!

I'll stay 4 more nights in nyc. In the YMCA West Side, which is very near to the broadway and the central parc. But you're right, I have been very surprised by the expensive accommodations in new york, too.

We are doing this tour and then the Grand Northern straight after, with the New York Explorer in between, then a week in Hawaii at the end!!

I am staying in New York for the extra nights afterwards then back to LA then on to Hawaii...I couldn't get any flights from New York to Hawaii which is why I am doing it this way!! I think a lot of people are going on their own which is cool...

My friend and I have booked to stay in the Contiki gateway hotel two nights before tour starts (i think it's the Best Western or something) and then after we're going to stay in New York for five days but not sure where yet - if anyone finds somewhere nice (but cheap!) post it on here...is anyone thinking about going to Hawaii at the beginning of August just before tour? i haven't booked any new york accommodation in New york yet either....i was looking at staying around times square area...its pricey so i might stay in a hostel, not sure yet though.
My brother stayed in the pod hotel last year and he liked it...so check that out if you want.
... im going to look at staying at the best western inn in LA before the tour too.
