Managed to get the final place on the Grand Southern Tour for 19th July - wuhoo. So better get my act together and book flights and pre/post tour accommodation.

Just wondering who else is on the tour and would be fab to chat beforehand.

Also, is anyone arriving to LA on the 18th July (day before tour starts)? If so, what hotel are you in?

Howdy Connie. Seems like most people are arriving 3-4 days before the tour starts. as for myself i arrive from san fran on the 18th and staying at the anaheim hotel which is were the tour leaves from. Your travel agent should be able to help u or it is in the back of the Contiki brochure. Same goes at the other end in New York

Not too long now is it - am so on count down, even though I've had 2 weeks off work!

Not long now at all. I'm starting my travels in 7 wks as i slowly make my way from Europe to America. So im on major countdown. working heaps and doing nothing but trying to save.
