Hey All.
Just decided to pack up my bags again and head to the states. Was looking at doing the Grand Southern tour. I had experienced the Europe Scene in 2001 and now I have let a few years past for work commitments and have decided to do the USA. Questions. Is July a good time to travel?? Would anyone recommend doing this tour? Can you suggest some ideas for tours in LA & NY? Love to hear some stories Josh **Winter Wonderer Europe 2001** |

Hey Josh, July wouldn't be the best time to go, late May early June would be much better. I'd say doing this tour is a good idae. But then you could always think about doing the grand Northern after this and then maybe going down to San Diego for a few days then hitting Vegas for a few more. Then you might even think about doing another tour like the California Highlights. If you had the time after all that you might even want to do a stop over in Hawaii.
New York tours: I'd do the hop on/hop off bus tours for sure. Get the pass that lets you do all 3 tours. Up Town/Down Town and Night tour. The company I used is Greyline. I also think going to see a baseball game in New York would be fun, maybe a Mets game. Here is a story from new York. It was my first day in New York so I got myself an apple and had my friend take a photo of me eating it with the Empire State Building in the background. It was so awsome. |
