I am from New Zealand and will be travelling solo, my first time overseas, so nervous and excited!!

Yay got my suitcase today, more room than I expected, its 74/51/33 cm which should be fine??? Also a side day bag and money pouch under clothing thingee, so excited I want to practice packing!!!

I am booked on both the Grand Northern and Grand Southern with you and I am travelling solo as well. Its so good to know I wont be the only one!

I was gonna book into the Big Apple Explorer too but I thought it would clash with the GN departure??!!?? Too late now, I've booked my flights now and don't arrive until 11.20 on the 29th

It's a shame cause April 30 is my 26th birthday and it would have been nice to not be by myself. Still... i'll be in NEW YORK!! Surely I can find something to do

I arrive in the US on 27 April doing the Big Apple Explorer first then May 2nd Grand Northern, so looking forward to it!!! How long are you staying in NYC after the tour? I leave on the 30th June to San Francisco for 5 nights then home to NZ.

Heya - i'm arriving in San Fran on May 7... spending until the 28th of May on that side of the country before heading south (deciding on whether to get on the tour) and then jumping on the north by north on June 27

Have just booked GS on May 31. Solo traveller from Melbourne. I have travelled extensively through Europe, Asia and Middle East but this will be my first time to USA. Arriving into LAX on May 29 but have to fly out the day after tour finishes to start another one in Seattle. Look forward to meeting you all.

hey everyone i will be on the tour also......going solo for the first half but have some friends joining the tour in New Orleans, I am from Sydney also.

StephC I see you are doing the North by Northeast tour on the 27th...as am I!!!

I'm going to be in LA for 2-3 days before the tour starts......anyone else be there?????
