Im doing the LA to NY Grand Southern starting on October 6th 2007! Anyone else going on this tour? I'm worried that this tour is going to be cancelled! Would be great to hear from you!

Left a reply on "Moggybabes" site about the GS, but just wanted to say that the chances of Contiki cancelling a tour like the Grand Southern is very VERYYYYYY remote, i did the GS New York to LA tour in 2005 and we had over 30 people on the bus, i was only in contact with 3 others on this site as most people (girls and guys) are new to Contiki and don't know about the website, and as i said on the other one, my reason for doing this again is, well......i am to be getting married in July 07 and if all goes well (and i can get 4 weeks hols) we will be going to America for our honeymoon.

I'll send you a message later confirming whether or not i/we will be going.

If so, then i'll speak with you'se in person and if not, then, enjoy the tour as i had the time of my life on the last one, its a blast, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" and the Grand Canyon, man its Beautiful

Hi my friend and I are also doing this trip. I did the Grand Northern back in 2005 and everyone said how good the Grand Southern is. We cannot wait for October, it will be a great time

Cool, where abouts will you and your friend be joining us from?

We will be starting the trip in LA. We are planning to have a few days in Anaheim, before staring the contiki tour. At the end we will have a couple of days in NY, b4 flying back for a few more days in Vegas. From Vegas we will head to Hawaii for about another week, b4 heading back home to Sydney. How about urself?

We are arriving in Anaheim the day before the tour starts and have also added an extra 3 night stay in NY at the end of the tour before also heading home to Sydney. Would love to do an extended holiday afterwards like yourself but i don't think i would be very popular at work if i did so!!

I'll be doing the first part of the GS Tour starting on the 6th Oct. First contiki tour also and travelling alone. Sooo looking forward to it. Im arriving a few days before the tour starts. Oh by the way my name is Melissa and from Sydney.

I'll be doing the first couple of weeks of the GS Tour starting on Oct 6. Was a bit worried that it might be cancelled too but by the look of this forum it looks like we should be good to go! I'm travelling alone from Melbourne - sounds like it will be fantastic.

Hey guys it is ben again all is booked and payed for thank god i am sure you guys have or will say the same but it is worth it. Just putting it out there i will be in anaheim couple days before in the hotel so if there is anyone else who is we could meet and maybe have a look around the place.
