This really sounds like it's going to be such an awesome Trip...i so can't wait!!
I've booked all my flights now - i arrive in LA on the 20th Jan at 7am so i'll pretty much have that day if anyone wanted to catch up then as i'm doing the LA Scene one as well (I think there's a few others doing that as well)
After our Tour i'm doing the Big Apple Explorer, then i fly straight out after that so i don't really have much time after the tour to hang around which sux! But then again.. i am going on a caribbean cruise so it's worth it!

I'm joining the group too, or at least sort of. I'm doing the Southern Adventure which means I get off half way through in New Orleans. I will be around New York at the end of the tour with family though.

About me: I from Wollongong, just outside Sydney. I've travelled before and can't wait until the holiday. Vegas on Australia Day is going to rock!!!

I will be in LA before the tour starts for a few days but am into the tv show Entourage so will be going to a few of the locations. If anybody's keen on the show let me know.

With regard to NYC, Whilst the Beacon looks quite nice, it is quite expensive.. Btw, you can get it a bit a cheaper by booking it direct or doing a bit of Googling instead of booking it through Contiki. (they will probably hate me for saying that here )

Apart from that, I am pondering saying at the Big Apple Hostel for my time in New York. In terms of costing it runs out at about $110/night for a private room (not a dorm room) and all the reviews sound good.

OMG! Its just taken me forever to read through all the new posts! its been so so long since i have checked it! my bad! Firstly welcome Anthony, Ads and Stacey! Im really pumped now after reading, it makes it all feel real! only 48 days (7 weeks) until i fly out, its coming up so fast i hardly know what to do with my excitment! AAAARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Well i booked my Ticket out of New York to Calgary for the 21st of February! so I will have a few days in New York to explore and hang out! then back to work in Canada! yay im still soooo excited!All of this just doesnt seem real, not long until we get our kits and stuff... 12th dec for mine! yayayayayayay

only 44 days until i fly out... who's as excited as i am??? me me me me me me lol ok so booked the pod hotel in ewyork for the days im there, sharing with janeo! its pretty cheap for what it is1 check it out www.thepodhotel.com sweet as! only built this year so flashy too! well thats me just thought i'd post some love since no one else has!

hey im the super poster.... lol look how many posts ive done, too many, but im sooo excited as everyone knows! Anyway im still gonna go with the 24th as ive been told that the 25th is the contiki meet and greet. i just wanna get dinner and have some drinks... just socialise a bit with whoever can make it, im not too fussed on where we go, but meeting at stovalls is probably the best bet! and if anyone cant meet there well we can meet at where ever we decide to have a meal! anyway lets get excited guys

PEOPLE!!! I am officially coming now! . except so bummed, I can only come to New Orleans, apparently its fully booked to NY so thats a bit of a downer.. bt still..YAY!

I have to admit I didnt read the emails I was getting about the meet up because I was really cos i thought for about a week I couldnt get on at ALL but now i CANT WAIT to hear from anyone!! I will be coming to LA a few days early to check it out so Id lurv to catch up with everyone. I think after Orleans I might still go to NY..but ill think about that a little later right now just so happy to be going

P.s im 21 about a week before the tour and there is no better place for a party then vegas!

OK not sure if everyone has gotten emails, but we have decided to have drinks on the 24th January, meeting st stovalls inn, Anaheim! not sure where to go yet, but steph gave us a great starter! and im sure we can find plenty more places!

Hey! I'm totally in for those drinks in Anaheim - I'll be staying there at that time! Just let me know when and i'm in! I'm staying at the Stovalls Inn from the 20th til the day we leave for the Tour!
