no, i have never been to the usa beforel. this will be only the second time that i would have been overseas but definitely excited and pumped for it.

I'm planning on doing the 28th November Grand Southern Starting in NY and finishing in LA!
Its so great to know others are doing it too!
I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'm 18 at the moment but will be 19 on the trip. I'm about to book flights this week (to my parents digust!) I cannot wait! Its going to be so awesome.

Plan is so far, Im going to stay one night in NY before the tour starts, i was going to do a few more but it looks super busy. I have friends in San Diego so once the tour is over im spending two weeks there. But I really would love to spend a few more days in LA. ONce again it all comes down to money.

i too am planning on doing the Grand Southern NY to LA on NOvermber 28th, my name is Katy and I'm about to turn 18 and am from Geelong/Melbourne so my flight leavs soon after my final yr 12 exam which i am very excited about

I arrive in NY 24th November for a few days of sightseeing before the tour starts and will be staying at the Contiki hotel then also having a few days in LA after the tour leave on 24 Dec. hey guys
I started trying to book my place yesterday and the guy i spoke to thought it was going to be full by the time the trips comes around he said almost every grand southern trip has 40-50 people on it, and they never get cancelled how exciting....

Anyway where are you all looking at staying in LA i am thinking of staying and then leaving for mexico on the 24 any idea on good cheap hotels in LA??
