My ex lives in Connecticut so on the NY yend I am going to visit her, as we are still great friends. I have lived in Brazil for a year when i was 18 and saw some of the east coast of the US after that. Thailand, Bali, most of Australia...so yeah I've been around I havent been on a contiki tour before.

AH ok, well this will be my first time overseas so will be interesting, i will be going by myself, still nto sure weather toi do a tour r just go round on my own terms.. hard decision to make coz i dont know what to expect from either of them!

I'm in the final stages of booking my spot on the grand southern for 5 May 2007 and I'm thrilled to see the lot of you already on board. Something fun, I'm an American born overseas and this will be my first trip to the U.S. ever! I'm also turning 29 on the 8th so am hoping ya'll are up for a party

hey lolly. if everything goes to plan we'll all be in a chopper over the grand canyon and bunking in a cabin at that world wonder on my birthday. Frankly, I can't think of any place I'd rather celebrate. you?

Anywhere over there would be a magnificant celebration. Its my 21st in less than a month (no point in going to the US unless your 21 i say!) so i will save all my celebratory spirit for over there. My mate and I are hanging out for Vegas!

I'm also booked to do the Grand Southern leaving LA on 5th May. Am travelling with my friend. We are havinga few days in LA before tour starts and then about a week in Buffalo with a friend at the end of the tour. We are flying air tahiti so are planning a two night stop over there on the way home. I can't wait. I am from Christchurch, New Zealand and leave here for L.A on May 2nd. (That's 129 days away!!)

well only 5 months to go! cant wait!

I'm booked on this tour too! Is anyone else planning on staying in NY for a few days, I've been checking out some hostels cause the contiki accom is pretty pricey!
