My name is Richard. I am originally from Melbourne ( Victoria ), Australia. I'm new to all this Contiki stuff, and this is the first time I'm flying Solo, and and the first time I'm doing a Contiki Tour ( Solo as well !  I've booked in for the Grand Southern Tour : LA to NY, commencing on 6th May, 2006, intiating at the Holiday Inn Anaheim, LA.; I'll be departing Melbourne early morning 5th May ( Australian Time  and will arrive in LA ( USA ) early morning 5th May ( USA Time [ L.A. ] , one day before commencement of the Grand Southern Tour : LA to NY. I'll most likely be staying ( the night  at the Holiday Inn Anaheim, LA, after arriving in LA.

Wouldn't mind meeting up with some Melbourners prior to the tour, who are on the same route at the same time from Melbourne to LA.

Just wondering if there's anyone out there in the same boat ?

Hi Richard

My Name is Sheree and I will be meeting you for the second half of this trip (from New Orleans to New York).  Then I am doing the Big Apple Explorer.  This is my second time on Contiki I did a europe trip four years ago.  I live in Melbourne and leave for Turkey in 20 days then I go to the UK before meeting up with you guys in New Orleans.  We are going to have a great time and I bet you will want to do contiki again after the trip.
