Yeah I'm that girl who travels solo. First Contiki but I did Europe for just over 3 months by myself 07/08. When are you guys heading to NY? Was thinking of going for few days before the tour to adjust to the time and everything before the partying begins!

nice to meet ya jordie! yeah we did a contiki of europe last year. we are going to canada for 3 weeks before the start of contiki...catching up with some canadians that were on our euro tour. but we will be in NY prob 3 days before tour starts.

we have booked and paid for our tour, got the early payment discount!! just the 2 of us going now. just hope there are more ppl on this tour?

Hey Amy! another aussie thats awesome! yeah we found out from our travel agent that most of the australian spots are filling up!...she said that each country gets designated a number of seats. we arrrive in NYC on the Jan 13 staying at the milford plaza. i checked the itinerary and think we will be heading to Pensacola on Aussie Day. its on the gulf of mexico.

Gulf of Mexico sounds like a good place to celebrate being an Aussie!

I forgot about aussie day...that'll be awesome! A bevvie before sounds like a great idea Jordie. Where abouts are you staying in NYC? It seems to be pretty expensive so let me know if you'd be interested in sharing a room before the tour.

Staying at L-Hostel in NYC. Will be there from the 9th so if you can get a room there it looks pretty good. hostelworld.com is good for finding hostels worldwide. helped me out a lot in Europe. If not we can still grab a bevvie or 12 before the tour! I'm sure there will also be plenty of adult lemonades had during the tour.
