Hello!

I am currently in the Midst of planning a Contiki Holiday for myself and my boyfriend. We have temporarily decided on the Spotlight on Greece/7 Day greek island cruise. Today i decided to do some research and now I am very concerned. I have read that the cruise line (louis hellenic) is absolutely horrible and the trip is too short/not enough time on the islands. We only have 2 weeks off of work and decided that it would be the most worthwhile to do greece entirely rather than a few countries in part.

I would really appreciate some honest opinions from people who have taken either of the trips and from people that have been on the cruise line before.

If you want to see Greece and have an awsome time do the Greek island hopping tour, NOT the spotlight on Greece tour.

My hubby and I just got back in Oct from Greece. We did the Aegean classic 7 days incl 4 days cruising. The ship was VERY old and in need of some work. I am a very picky eater and found most of the food on board not to my liking however my hubby thought it was alright.
My favorite ports were Kusadasi, Rhodes, and Santorini(Oia)
We slept through Crete since we were told it wasn't worth getting up and out for. Some people went out to see it but most of us slept in.

Agreed. The boat is in rough shape, and you spend way too much time on it. That is why I suggest the Greek island hopping tour over the spotlight tour.
