Hi! im a 18yr old Female from Australia and thinking about doing the european expearnce. just wondering about the weather and whens the best time to go? (the warmist maybe?)i'm also a frist time traveler so any tips on travelers checks (like how they work, where you can get them, what they are good for ect..) or any tips in general would be very helpfull.thanks!
Hi Renee. i went on a tour this past May. i did the Horzions tour and when i went the average temperture was about 70F. it was fairly cool in the mountains. Venice was a bit chilly at night but other than that a light weight jacket is all you really need. Travelers checks you need to exchange at any bank or thomas cook. you get them at a bank or travel agent. when you are ready to exchange them you must date and sign the second time in front of the person. and they are pretty much good for anything you can think of once you get the local currency. the good thing is that most of europe uses the Euro now and the only times i needed to exchange money was in London and Switzerland. well good luck with your planing and have fun on your trip if you decide to do one.
