I am planning on going on the tour on May 29, 2009 by myself. I was wondering if there are any other people signed up for the same time? I am really looking forward to it!

Is there anyone that has already been on this tour that could offer advice about what not to miss, what to make sure to bring, what you really don't need, etc...

I am doing the same tour solo in Aug 09. If you're after an idea of what the tour might be like I'd suggest having a look at Dave's travelogues. there's a link on one of the Europe travelogue pages. You can probably find allsorts of other advice on the travel talk and Europe advice pages or try Contikipedia.
