Hi Andrew,

There are 4 definites and 3 possibles going! My boyfriend hadn't seen snow till August when we went on a quick practice trip to NZ - he loved it. I had not been skiing before I went to Hopfgarten and I had a blast. The instructors are really good.

We are also going on the European Inspiration trip after skiing. What about you??

Hey CJ

I'm getting to London on the 1st of December, staying with my cousin and then going on the Euro discovery tour on the 5th of December. So far I haven't heard from anyone about that! Confused

The skiing is pretty much the last thing I'm doing before I come home, I leave on the 28th of Jan, so I don't think I'll have any trouble sleeping on that flight. Good to hear the instructors are top notch, I signed up for the 5 lessons, I reckon I'll need them!

Are you going to be in London before for a while? It would be cool to catch up before we get on the bus!

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I checked your tour on 5th Dec - it says Call for Availability which usually means its almost full!!

Skiing last isn't a bad idea as it can be hard work. 5 Lessons is a great idea - to be honest it's quite frustrating for the first day or two but then once you get the hang of it it's a blast!

We arrive in London at lunchtime the day the tour goes but keen to catch up for a beer before the trip - great little pub just around the corner from the Royal National.

Are you going by yourself??

i can get a bunch of stuff cheaply, if you don't mind the chinese spelling of Tommy Hilfiger Smiler

4th trip huh? there must be something to contiki tours then.. haven't really looked at too many tours. Just wanted to go skiing and snowboarding when i booked

I arrive in london on the 12th at about 12. hear it's easy to get to the royal national and there's a pub round the corner? maybe there'll be time for a pint then. The bus leaves at 3pm i think.. anyone else gonna be there?

hey tom,
my friend and i are taking the bus to hopfgarten. thought we might be the only ones! we are doing so much flying around that we figured that at least this way we might get to catch up on some sleep. we are staying at the royal national the night before so will have plenty of time to kill on the 12th...

Hey all,

I havn't posted in ages! I'm going on the bus as well so there is one more person for you! I'm not staying at the hotel the night before but I would be keen to catch up with anyone leaving on the 12th at the pub around the corner that every one is talking about. Won't want to drink too much though - that would make the bus ride pretty uncomfortable!

I'm am heading of to London on Thursday so Happy New Year in advance and look forward to seeing you on the 11th for that meeting!

hey nikki, andrew

i thought from what i read under the other topics that the bus is gonna be packed. A bit of legroom isn't too bad though..
Killing time or catching up in the pub'd set the holiday off to a great start.

anyone know though, if they wait for ppl that are late? Just figured, that any delay of any of the flights might make me miss the bus.
And do you rent the ski-clothes or do you bring your own?

Hey Everyone,

Tommy - the bus doesn't wait for anyone. There rule is for all tours if you miss the bus anywhere its your own responsibilty to make it to next town. What time does your flight arrive?

The bus was packed when I went but nearly all the tours always are. We are both taking the bus along with another friend.

22 Sleeps till we leave the country! So excited.

Ciao for now
CJ
