Hey Guys!

Anyone catching the Ski Hopfgarten departing the 2nd of Feb? I know its some time from now but I'm so excited as it will be my first time overseas!

I have also booked the Winter Wanderer starting on the 6th of Jan. Should be a great 5 and a half week hey! I hope so.

Anyway, feel free to reply. It would be great to know some people before the trip!

Craig...

hey there..
going by yourself on this trip sounds scary but it's actually allot of fun. I went last year and am going again on the 19th of january because i had such a good time.
don't be worried that you can't ski too well as there will be many people who have never even seen snow before..
i recommend you do a few lessons as this is the quickest way to find others at your skill level to progress with..
And yes there is allot of ausssies but if you do go on the 19th of jan you will be in austria for australia day - which goes off!! check out www.bunnyspub.com photos of last new year.

any questions just ask - andrew_krenske@hotmail.com

Hey everyone! Its so good to see soo many replies. Sorry that I haven't replied, I have been very busy volunteering with the Australia University Games.

Anyway, let me start replies to all those questions Smiler

Luke - Have you booked the ski trip on the 2nd of feb yet mate? This is my first time overseas aswell. I went to Falls Creek last year and loved it, I snowboard for the first time and just started to get the hang of it on the last couple of days.. it was soo awsome.

Hey Simona, is there anything I should be aware about in regards to the trip? Any pointers you can share Smiler ? Have you booked the trip yet too? Are you going by urself or with friends?

Hey sammy - lou, how are ya? i guess i'll ask the same old question in that have you booked the ski trip too on the 2nd? Looks like its gona be an aussie assult on the slopes of Austria!! haha, what do you do for living sammy?

Hey there Katieehirst, I wouldn't worry too much about travelling by youself, me too am travelling solo but have no fear !! I went to Falls Creek last year and loved it. Went with mates and we were the laughing stock on the hill. Boy, do I have some stories to tell Smiler haha.. What about you katie? Do you think you would be able to teach me? I snowboard by the way.

Good to see you have booked the same trip for the Winter Wanderer. The four days that we have in between the WW and Ski, are you staying at the Royal National? You have any idea on what you wana see or do in that time?

I too fly into London on the 4th of January. Where are you from? I leave Adelaide at 1:40, stop over at Singapore and then arive in London at 5:30 in the morning! Where are you flying from?. This is my first time overseas and can't wait, gona go nuts with all these aussies on our tour!

Tillitcomes - Mate, I highly recommend going. Aussies are going to invade the Austrian slopes! Hope you can come dude... There are a few people going by myself including me so have no fear, we will all manaage...

Well that's all from me.. can't wait to hear all of your replies... If you have MSN and want to chat or just write an email, you can contract me on charzlife69@hotmail.com..

Only 2 months to go people!!

Catch ya,
Craig Smiler

Hey Adelaide guy
I fly out of Brisbane on the 3rd of Jan with Emirates with a stop in Dubai then on to London. Yeah the days in between I've booked into the Royal lol I have no idea i was hoping to get some pointers before i leave.
i'm probs not the best person to teach anyone lol I've skiied twice once at Perisher and then the other in New Zealand. I could probs teach you to fall on your ass gracefully haha.
I am soo excited bout going the count down is on!!!
Just gotta start paying everything off now! Who you flying with?
The more aussies the better, I really hope our tour is fully booked.
Anywho looking forward to meet you all

Hey Craige,

I can recommend not catching the bus from london. I did it last year back and forth and would not do it again. I took my own board gear last year, which ment the weight of all my own gear was very close to the 20k limit. My advise is to fly to munich or salzburg, and make your way from there. I am still trying to confirm my leave from work before I can book. Last year was pretty much all aussie and south african with a couple of canadians and brits thrown in.

Don't worry about travelling by yourself, as that was what I did, and had an absolute blast.
Make sure that you go to the silver bullet pub (owned by an aussie) in town. Afterhours this is where the action is. Last tip is to get involved with the dress up party towards the end of the week. I won't say any more than that.

Hey tiger (Simona) ! Hope things are all going well.... I have already booked the trip and I pay for the contiki tours in late november. How much would it cost for me to fly from London to Munich or Salzburg? Its most likely I'll just stick with the bus tour. I have been on long tours before and your right its very painful but if I can handle a 16 hour plane trip, I'm pretty sure I can handle the bus!! haha..

Hey girlie, I don't have any gear, I'm just gona hire a board. So a South African hey??? humhum... what can i say?! ha, can't wait to hit the bar and will swim together all the way home! haha...

Good to hear from you all, it's not long to go!

All the best Smiler

Craig..
