hey i'm 25yr old Australian who's living in London ... i'm planning on going skiing for a week in february 2009 but havent decided what dates i'm going yet thinking either 6th or 20th ... anyone planning on doing a week in february 2009 let me know ... i've been skiing once before and am keen to try it again

I am doing the 2 week trip on the 23rd Jan till the 7th Feb - I have been before - I went this year in the 1st 2 weeks in Feb and loved it!!!
Quite a few of the girls that were there learnt to ski and were on the main slopes after only a few days - there are some nice easy runs and also some nice intermediate runs at Hopfgarten, I was there in the summer this year on another trip and went up the mountain and they were putting more ski lifts so will be more runs next season - you will love it!!! we ski/board during the day and some party at night!!!

Hi Didi, i'm counting down the days already, I have booked for 2 weeks however surely if you book for 1 week and you decide to stay on you should be able to organise that with the tour manager there?

Are you going direct to Hophgarten or coming to London to start the trip?

Definitely not flying all the way to the UK to do the buss thing! I'll go direct to Hopfhgarten if I manage to get everything arranged. Last time the whole place was pretty much booked out and there was no way to extend a trip even if you wanted to. I'll probably book two weeks, at least that gives two weeks of maybe getting some fresh snow instead of one.

Hi Didi, i'm based in Brisbane Australia but work in Papua New Guinea so kind of in between countries

I'm going to fly into London because it's easy to get to Russell Square, catch up on some sleep then jump on a bus and hopefuly meet people on the way, I just couldn't really be bothered flying into Munich and trying to get interconnecting trains etc

Go on, book for 2 weeks, will be a riot

PS: And if the snow is great at the end of 2 weeks, i'm 100% sure there will be places around to stay, just need to shake the right cages
