Hey!

I've finally decided to book a tour and am doing the GC in 2010.

Any tips or suggestions? Any tour highlights I should consider?

The trip isn't for ages, but I like to know a bit in advance. I'm excited and nervous all in one, I've never been on a plane let alone travelled around anywhere Big Grin

Cheers,
Nickee

Hey, if you get the chance do the GC that takes in the Calgery Stampede. So much fun.
Oh take some warm cloths for sure. I went in early July and it was still quite cold.
Canada rocks, you'll have a great tour which ever date you go.

I'm thinking of doing the GC next yr as well...looking at the 16th of July departure. Can't wait to go travelling again

Is it true that for the east coast part of the tour, you are actually on the grand northern bus?

Modulated tours aren't wierd as long as everyone on them gives it a go to meet and great but the best thing with the Grand Canadian is it's usually only a small number of people from the Northern starting with the Rockies tour so it's not as bad as the wild western. The only problem with being 20 on tour is if you want to drink in New York before the tour or in Boston, otherwise the drinking age is 19 in Canada. This is a great Tour.

Drinking age in Canada is 18 or 19 depending on the Province.

And in Québec, it's really just a suggestion. Wink
