hi there,

you'll be able to pick up tours in LA all the time whether it be through ur hotel or on hollwood blvd. maybe a have a look at viator.com cos they have some good tours on there as well. it can take you through LA, the hills, hollwood sign, santa monica, venice beach and Beverley Hills. Very thorough!!

definetly do disneyland. it's about an hour away from LA itself but well worth the trip!!! you'll regret it if u don't...it is the happiest place on earth!! you might be able to get a shuttle from ur hotel but look at google for transport. don't rely on public transport though!!! and whatever u do, DON'T taxi it. it will cost you about 100-120 dollars depending on traffic.

Vegas- it is the easiest place to get around...the strip is long and suring summer which i can assume is when you'll be there is very hot but well worth the walk!!! Get urself a frozen alcoholic slurpee, you can walk along the strip with it and it will cool you down if it is too hot!! if you go down further to old vegas it's pretty cool as well...tacky but fun tacky if u know what i mean. there is a bus that goes all the way down the strip which is pretty good but the traffic is insane!!! you might wanna walk most of the way and then find a bustop away from the traffic.
There is an outlet place kinda like an upmarket DFO which is awesome but they have them everywhere in the states!!

Goto the MGM Grand in vegas and check out the lions!! it's pretty awesome!! In vegas they also have a hawaiin marketplace. it's not too shabby and you might pick up a cheap bargain!! Vegas is awesome and can't be described until you're there...you'll know what i mena when u see it!!

Canada i'm doing next year as well so can't help you out there.

Hope this helps!!

Cheers, Sara

Have to agree with Sara - Disneyland a must - even if your not into it you can at least say you have done it !!! Universal Studios is like Mvie world in QLD but hey when you go to the gold coast you always go to the attractions - why ?? CAUSE THEY ARE FUN !!!! Universal Studios holds many a fun moment for me !!!LA is very easy to get around and all the accomm is pretty much in walking distance of all the main attractions and like Sara said tours are easily to pick up either from your hotel or the main strip

Vegas again easiest place no need for transport just walk take in the sites. PRemium Outlets you can get buses too and is a must...many a bargain to be grabbed here !!!!

And yeah have a great time - im heading back to LA and Vegas in Jan so i have my list already written out !!!
