Hi,
I have just been told by someone that went on the Wild Western that the hotel in Vegas is pretty rubbish ... has anyone else got the same opinion?? I am considering booking my own accomodation for the two nights, has anyone else done this, any opinions???

Thanks,
Clint

Been to Vegas 3 times with Contiki and found it fine, has a bed, shower and air con. All you really need. On average i've spent about 5 hours sleeping per night and thats it.But if you want to book some where else and live it up go for it.

My group had a few people who opted to stay somewhere else.

The a/c didn't work all that well, kept cutting off and just blowing air that wasn't cold.

The shower didn't maintain a constant water temperature.

The 1st night we saw three men getting arrested in the parking lot.

Some other people said their rooms were dirty. Personally I thought mine was fine.

Luckily though you don't have to spend that much time there. But if I had to do it over I would have stayed somewhere else.

I am going on the Wild Western tour as well, and heard different opinions on this hotel.

What it came down to for me was how much time was I really going to spend in the room, considering that its Vegas!

I plan to just suck it up and deal with whatever room/conditions I get, and make the most of my time exploring the casinos and other attractions.

I'm going alone, and the plan is to make new friends!

It was difficult to get anyone to have holidays at the same time, who wanted to see the same things, who had enough money blah blah blah.

So I made the choice, booked it, and don't regret it so far... I'll let you know when I get back what I think of the hotel and the trip Smiler

Hey guys, bet you're all excited for your trip? I did the WW in August and had the time off my life. Personally, if i went back to Vegas I would not stay in the hotel again, but whilst on tour it was ok. It was a little dirty and the smallest of all rooms on tour, but we slept in it for like 10 hours in total, so not really worth spending extra money!! Use the money you save on the tables :-)

Just slam your door shut when you head out and double check it is shut....some of the doors didn't shut as easy as others. Other then that the room was fine. Very close to the strip.
