Hi Sara! I'm thinking of doing this tour and the Grand Southern after that, with a bit of travel to Seattle and Vancouver in between. I REALLY have to start saving! Did my first Contiki at the end of last year (Wild Western) and loved it so can't wait to go back

I am going on the Grand Northern starting 3rd September 2010. I am also doing the New York Explorer before hand.

i did the grand southern last year and it was insane!!!! you'll love it!!!

i can't wait...let the official countdown beign...i can't believe it's this year!!!

Yeah, I know a couple of people who've done the grand southern and they said it was awesome! I'm assuming lots of people stay in New York at the end for a while because I'll probably 'do' New York then rather than before the grand northern.

The time goes so fast, the trip will be here before we know it!

Yes I'm travelling solo. I've did a Contiki solo at the end of last year and had a blast, you make friends so quickly! I'm hoping to do the Grand Southern after this tour.

Where are you all from? I'm from NZ. Most people seem to be Aussies though!

it'll still be fairly hot over there so don't worry helen you'll leave with a tan!!!! the grand southern is awesome though...can't wait to do the grand northern!!

i'm gonna be in new york for 12 days before the tour starts so i'm just gonna do it on my own...so many things i wanna see and do but should be great!!

Sara's definitely right about the tan Helen, I hardly ever tan and I couldn't believe how much browner I was after three weeks in the US in October!

I noticed this tour date isn't a guaranteed departure so I hope it doesn't get cancelled!

Good to have another non-Aussie Helen, on my last trip about 75% were Aussies!
