I'm Dana, 23, and I'll be on your trip too (by myself) I can't wait only 150 sleeps till I fly to NY... I'm leaving NZ on 29/07 and get to NY 30/07 so only a couple of free days in NY before our tour... wanted to see a few sites beforehand tho!

Afterwards I still have just over a month off work so keen to keep travelling around depending on how it all goes...(would love to go to San Fran, Florida, Mexico and Hawaii) hoping I'll meet people with similar interests and we can go from there!

hi dana, bit of relief theres some more girls on this tour! i thought id be stuck with all guys! its good to see your travelling by urself aswell, as i am.

Ill be flying out from sydney on the 27th to NY as ill also be doing the Big apple explorer. so well more than likely meet if your staying at the same hotel. ill be staying in LA (may venture into mexico though) for 10 days after the tour. unfortuantly i will be going home after that. thats all my holidays gone!

I'm staying at the Marrakesh in NY for two nights before the tour and Anaheim Best Western for 3 nights afterwards. I've taken from 28/07-29/09 off work so who knows what I'll be doing or where I'll be staying after that!

Yeah hope we all have a fun time, I've heard contiki's are the best! I'm excited for Vegas and all the other "all american" sights we will be seeing!

yeh i hope its good aswell, well i thought its the best way going solo & meeting new people. yeh im excited about the whole trip really- theres so much were going to see.... im 21 in three weeks so itll be awesome to be able to see some nightlife aswell. hey not sure if you have facebook or not- but theres a group on there with other people doing the grand northern- if you want to meet some othes before the tour.

I know I can't wait! I reckon I'll get quite nervous when it gets closer to the time... I turn 24 in may so hope I'm not the oldest on the trip hahaha its all good I can still party hard! I'll look into facebook tho coz would be mint to feel like I know people before I go! thanks!

i turn 30something in may.. so u wont be the oldest on the tour... a mate & and i are leaving syd same day that u leave NZ and staying at the Marrakesh in NY. It should be loads of fun.

I'm gonna be joing you guys on this tour, though it will be the las of three I'm on. i'll also be on the gran sothen on the 4th of july, and then New yourk tour just before this one! Are other people turing up to the meeting on the evening before?

Anyone elce going to be doing a similar type of touring?

Hey! =) I'm 22, just graduated, and really excited about the trip. It will, like Helen, also be the last of 3 tours for me. I haven't really had any time to plan, just booked the tours last minute not too long ago (I'm surprised they still have space!)
