My mum and soon to be step dad are getting married in vages next year around september, and i want to do this tour before i go. Im pretty sure the one stating in august is the one that ends on september 7th? If so this is the same tour i am looking at doing. Im 21 (22 in a couple of week) and i am from Sydney, what about you?
I am planning on going and staying in new york a day or two before the tour. Then doing the grand northen, finishing in LA on the 7th of september. I will then be meeting my mum and soon to be step dad in Las Vages where they will be getting married. I will then be spending a week in Anahime, then travelling to san fran with parents. After San Fran i would like to fly to Canada to do the contiki tour for Canada and the Rockies, but dont think the dats will match up, so might have to do that another time. I am going to the travel agent on Saturday to book the tour... so excited! Have you booked yours?
Yeah I have booked and i will be in NY 4 days before, as im doing the grand southern before, and then going to San Fran when i finish this tour for about 2 weeks. I am trying to book my flights at the moment with flight centre and im having a bit of trouble with them so i think im just going to book the flights through STA travel as they seem to be the cheapest. When im in NY i will be staying at the contiki hotel so let me know where you are staying. Yeah i know where sutherland shire is.
Im not sure where i will be staying in san fran, ill prob be staying with my parents for cheaper accomadation. I have been to america before but that was 10 years ago. I have been to san fran as well, it is an awsome place, but lots of homeless people and gays. You have to be really careful in san fran, they have a high criminal rate, and are known for pick pocketing and getting wallets stolen.
Hi I'm booked on the North by North East tour departing NY on 15 Aug 08, which I believe will be the same tour as you guys, I just finish in Chicago. I'm 24 from Victoria and will be travelling solo.

I dont think i have been to Seattle Ave, im not 100% sure. I went when i was 11, and we went for 4 weeks, did alot of travel, but i dont remember much other then the theam parks (which i am doing again after the tour, im spending 7 days in anaheim before doing san fran, las vages and then flying to vancover to do my canadian and rockies tour). So not too sure sorry. What part of the trip are you most looking foward too? By the way, i used a travel agent in wonnona, im sure you know where that is haha... oh we got lost though and ended up in kiama, TWICE!
Kiama is like 45 mins or so from woonona i cant believe you ended up there. I use to work in corrimal which is about 5-10 mins from woonona. Im looking forward to Las Vagas and Boston. I have never been to America so its very exciting. How much were your flights?
Yeah the tours are combined. I arrive in NY on 11/09 and am doing the Big Apple Explorer for 3 days before the tour. Then when I finish your Grand Northern, my North by North East in Chicago, I fly to LA and am doing the Wild Western. Will be full on, but lots of fun.
I'm flying with United, my flights were $2800, but I have a Chicago LA flight included in that and fly out of Melbourne.
