its better to post stuff home cuz you don't want to get stuck paying for excess baggage..it's not that expensive to send stuff back...i send a fairly big box back home last year in NY for a fair price
i didn't give work much of a choice of how long i was going for i'm only young once...an i gave them like a years notice

yeah one of my friends said to post it back home but knowing my luck it would get lost or damaged.
Yeah i didn't really give work a chance to say no to my holidays i filled in the paperwork after i had booked the trip and paid a very large deposit. I kinda guilted them into signing the paperwork but hey it worked.
My sentiments exactly you are only young once so you might as well get out there and explore the world for you never know what might happen tomorrow.
Did it take long for the parcel to arrive in Australia from New York?

Tracie,
Age? Well...I'm not a young kid fresh out of school, if that helps. I finished university a long, long time ago (at least that's how it feels). I've been working full-time for a while. Moved to Melbourne from the Gold Coast 4 years ago.
Are there any other people from Melbourne here?

Hi Kells,

Your from Auckland too, cool. I read your past posts and see you are looking at doing Disneyland after the tour, I am also going to do that.

I also see you are keen on going to Medeval Times. I didn't think I would be able to fit it in this trip but I see there is a session the night we finish the contiki at 7pm, which would work. This might be nice to finish the contiki, so any else who is keen say speek up Smiler

Disneyland is open late till 9pm and so the next two days and nights Mon & Tues will no doubt be taken up with checking out the two parks. I leave LA on the Wed morning, so it really only the Sunday night that would work.

Ben.

Hi Tracie,

Just checked out the NZ Grand Explorer, sounds good. The South Island is amazing, I had only traveled south of the tip of it in 2002 and was blown away.

Ben.
