Hi guys
I'm in the process of booking my contiki tours...i will be going on the 12th Sep tour as well..then heading on to the wild western and then to new zealand to do the grand explorer
This is the second year that I have done contiki tours...its an awesome experience...last year i did the grand southern, big apple explorer and the grand canadian which is actually part of the grand northern...
so i hope to be booked on the tour soon

Im planning on doing the grand northern contiki... sept 12th! Waahooo, cant wait!! Im 18 and from New Zealand. Going over to the US in June to do Camp America then travel after that! Thinking I might go to Disneyland at the end of the tour, anyone else thinking about doing that?

I have 3 nights accomodation after the GN before I start the wild western so I intend on going to a park over there on one of those days, so yeah i'd be interested

I'm looking at doing disneyland after the tour, so yeh I would be interested and looking forward to it and I would'nt mind going to a medieval dinner, a friend of mine has been to it and she said its really good so if your interested let me know. I have been to the medieval dinner in LA, its awesome - completely recomend it! I live in Wellington, NZ No I don't use face book but I have bebo! Just today I've changed my mind a bit, I'm going to do the North by North East Tour that finishes in Chicago then go to Hawaii before heading home at the end of september.

I have also booked the GN trip on 12 September. I live in country NSW and just thought i would say HI to some fellow travellers. This is my first contiki tour and i am travelling alone. I will be arriving in NY the day before the trip and then spending 3 extra days in Anaheim to go to Disneyland and shopping.
It is exactly 3 months until i fly out of sydney and i can't wait.
Would love to hear from any of you guys.

I'm also from Sydney and it sounds like you are flying out around the same time from Sydney as what i am...who are you flying with? I'm flying with Qantas with stopover in LA 10.20am flight 11 Sep. I'm staying at the Days Broadway Hotel as the Marrakech was full. I will also be spending 3 days in anaheim to do the theme parks and the like so maybe we could do that together.
Where abouts do you live? I live in Penrith and i am 24. U?
You are going to have a ball. I am also travelling solo. This is my 2nd year of contiki tours and i can't wait to go again.

I am flying with Qantas and leave on the 1020am flight from sydney. I think i was lucky my travel agent got me a room at the Marrakech for the 11 sept and then i am staying at the Best Western in Anaheim at the end of the tour. It would be great to have someone else to do the rides at the themepark with. I have been told that the teacups is a must in rides. I have orders to go to the bear factory at disneyland for my two nieces.
I live in Yass which is around 30 minutes to Canberra and 3 hours to sydeny. I am 28.
I am down to counting in weeks and shortly it will be days.

As for the theme parks yeah it would be great to have someone to go with...The teacups are definately a must...i went on them at magic kingdom in florida last year and they are fun...are you a rides person..i am just not rides that you go upside down too much...Where's the bear factory? Thats sounds pretty cool..Is that like the make a bear hear in aus.
Luckily the htoel i picked when i couldn't get the marrakech is only a few blocks away..i wanted to be able to get to the pre tour meeting easy.

Yep i sure am on the QF107 flight from Sydney to New York.
Yeah im not a big fan of rides that go upside down alot either but anything else is a must. The bear factory is like the make a bear and it is in the shopping district apparantly. I have just been told that i have to go and bring back two bears.

That is just too freaky us being on the same flight.
Yeah don't know how i am going to get them home may have to buy another suitcase just to get everything home as friends have put in orders as what they would like bought back.
I don't have the funds and can't take anymore time off work to do another tour. Would love to do one around Germany for some reason.
