First post so apologies if it goes horribly wrong! I'll be on the Grand Northern is Sept 12 - can't believe there's already a forum - cool! I did the Grand Southern last year and I had a blast so I'm so excited to be doing it all over again! This is my third trip to the states - should probably do Europe eventually but the states is just way too much fun!

Yeah sure you can ask me anything I'll do my best to answer. You're going to love the Grand Southern I had an awesome time. Actually I was originally booked only to do the tour to New Orleans but I was having such a great time I asked if I could stay on (after much begging, pleading and negotiating for a Mum loan!). I guess my first bit of advice about it would be to definitely save your money for the Grand Canyon helicopter flight it's a little pricey but it's worth every cent - one of my favourite things about the trip!

2nd Contiki trip, did the Eastern adventure (New Orleans - NYC) last spring .. i needed something to look forward to, so i had to book!

afraid it's an in-and-out job (again), it was tough enough getting 3 1/2 weeks off work, I dont think they were going to give me any more time off!

So i'm flying into NYC on September 11(!) and flying out a few hours after we finish in LA. No rest for the wicked, huh?

I'm arriving on the 8 september I'm looking at staying at hostelling international new york for at least 2 nights and on the 11th september at the Marrakech but not sure were i'll stay on the 8th??

just checked the website for marrakech - it looks pretty awesome!
i'll actually be staying with a mate of mine (i hope!) for the few days before the tour..
check out the chelsea hotel for a night, it looks pretty cool.. i'll be staying there in May.
