Hey everyone

I just booked the tour last week and now trying to find a cheap flight.

I've been on 2 contiki tours before - one in america and the other in europe.

I'm 26 and live in the south of England and can't wait until August. I'll be getting to NY on the 1st so will have about a day and a half to do the sight-seeing thing. I've been to NY before but only in winter.

Good to see another person on the tour. This will be my second contiki and I can't wait. It's gonna be a long flight all the way up from Perth, Australia but hey, it's an adventure right!

I am hitting NYC on 30 July and just gotta finalise accomodation and of course wait for August

I am on the North by North East Tour leaving NY on 3rd August. I will be leaving you guys in Chicago. This is my first time to the USA and first time on Contiki. I arrive in NY on the 1st Aug aswell in the arvo. Staying at Hotel Beacon. Should definately catch up before hand.....I will be 25 and I am from Ballina, Far North Coast NSW Australia

I think my flight gets into Newark Airport about 1pm so by the time i get my luggage and onto a shuttle bus, i should be at Hotel Beacon by mid afternoon. It would be great to all meet up and go and explore NY if you want?

Good to hear from another person who is also doing BAE and Grand Northern!! I arrive on the 30th July and will also be staying at the Hotel Beacon.

I live in Sydney and I turn 29 when I am in NY.

I am having a real hard time deciding between the grand northern and the grand southern.
if i book the grand northern it will be for this date and will also be arriving early.
I am travelling by myself so am keen to meet up with people prior.
Was also wondering is anyone staying on in LA longer.

I am only on the first leg of the grand northern. I will be in LA when the tour ends though, and will be there till the 31st aug. then back home to oz. i arrive in NY on the 1st august.

Yes my fault about the two different page thing - got a bit confused and somehow created a whole new page instead of just replying to the original! If everyone just uses Kaz' pages it'll be a lot easier.

I'm on the countdown now, 2 months to go - yay. Although have to go and pay off the rest of my balance in a few weeks - not so yay!
