My name's Rhonda, I've been signed up on this trip and the Grand Southern since december : ) I'm finishing in Vegas and starting the Grand Southern in Vegas the next day instead of going all the way to LA (cos the grand southern starts the day before the grand northern ends.) I'm getting to NYC a few days earlier so i can do some sightseeing how bout you? |

Hi Nick,
I know we've touched base earlier, but i thought i would pop my name up here. To anyone else i am going solo and also booked on the Sept 15 GN and excited ( and probably be completly bonkers like everyone else when September finally arrives). I am arriving in NY with 4 days to kill (1 spent in Washington DC) with 3 NY days to do the tourist thing (sight-see & navigate whatever is happening in regards to 9/11 memorials) and heading to San Fran for a couple of days after the tour ends. So if anyone wants to make contact or chat about any interesting activities over in the USA they've found to do that is not on the Contiki Itinerary, drop me an e-mail please at Starly96@hotmail.com. I'm booked on the grand northern starting sept 15th too! I'm on the big apple explorer before that, can't wait! I'd love to hear from anyone else who's on this tour, especially if they're in NY at the beginning.

I'm booked on both the Big Apple Explorer on the 12th Sept and the Grand Northern on the 15th Sept. It's going to be a wild 27 days! I went on contiki last year thru Europe which was an amazing experience. I met so many new friends and am looking forward to meeting you all and partying it up in each city we visit...
