Hi Lisa, well I am from Sydney and doing the whole tour and thats the only tour I am doing in the States, the rest of the time I am there I am doing by myself - how about you?

We fly into LA and go to San Fran then hit NYC before the tour then finish the tour in Chicago and go some other places before we come home again!! When do you arrive into NYC? Have you been to the states before? Send me your email if you prefer and lets chat on there

My Mate and I (from Syd)are doing Grand Northern 01 May 2009.

We are doing San Fran, Houston, Dallas, Mexico, Orlando, Miami, Washinton DC & NY before hand by ourself.

Have any of you been to the States before?

Hi Joe- Yes, I've been to the states...I lived in Colorado a few years ago and have been to NYC, but not to anywhere else that the tour goes. My friend who is going also has not been before. Looked at Cerdar Poin- man! Crazy! 17 roller coasters!!!! So you are on the tour before us- damn!

I Get to the state on the 26 of March and do San Fran, Houston, Dallas, Cancun, Orlando, Miami, Washinton DC & NY before hand by ourself.

After the contiki doing west coast (Anaheim, San Diego, Tijuana LA & Hawaii) by ourself.

I just booked my tour today!!!! So excited!!!
My name's Katie, 26, from Sydney. I'm travelling on my own also.

This will be my 2nd contiki tour, I went on the Ultimate European last year, which was fantastic. I hope the US is just as good if not better!

I am doing the Grand Southern tour beforehand. After that tour I have 4 nights at the Marrakech, but am exploring NY on my own. Then I head off on the Grand Northern tour with you guys! Then 3 nights at the Best Western in LA before flying home.

Is anyone else doing both tours?

Looking forward to counting down the days.....

Hi, the May 1st trip has booked out so I might be coming on the May 15th trip now. I am 26/f/sydney. Have been on Ultimate Euro 2005 and Russia & Scandinavia 2007, just deciding whether to head to the States. I will be over there for Grand Northern (15th) and the New York Explorer before (12th May). I will also have a few extra days before hand which I will do either LA or San Fran. And then afterwards I will do LA and maybe San Diego. Is anyone on the trip travelling solo and keen to checkout Disneyland/Universal Studios or anything before/after?
