Im Sarah, I have just turned 24, and am also going it alone!! Im from Melbourne. I leave on the 14th so i have an extra day in Rome before the tour starts. Ill also stay an extra night at the end of the tour in a different hotel in Rome.. just in case i miss out on something!! I am so excited.. a little nervous about being alone, but most contiki travelers seem to be alone anyway so it cant be too scary!!

I'm starting to think that its just you and i on this tour!! Hopefully more people start popping up as we get closer to leaving!

What is the last hotel we are staying at? i havnt recieved my contiki wallet yet.

Im taking 2000, but will also have my credit card if i need it... Im flying with Cathay Pacific. Who are you flying with? I have stopovers both ways in Hong Kong. On my way back i have to wait for 13 hours between flights!!

i take it by your photo that you are not single? Where abouts in Sydney are you from?

What is the thing that you are most looking forward to once in italy?? I cant wait to see the Colleseum and the Roman Forum..

i am flying with qantas both stop over is hong kong to but both ways its are 3 hour stop over so that is ok with me

i leave on the 15th at i think 2.20pm and i get into rome at 7.30am the same day the tuor start.
leaving i am staying till the 28th and i am leaving at 12.45 pm

Oh my God, i was obsessed with big brother... i didnt realise it was John!!! How funny!

On the 14th i leave at 2:40 and get to Rome at 7:30am the day before the tour.. so pretty much the same as yours but a day earlier..

My flight home leaves Rome on the 28th at 12:50pm so the same as you. pity we are on seperate flights. i would have loved the 3 hour stopover instead of 13!!

I found out that it is heaps cheaper to get the train to the airport than getting a transfer/taxi. the termini station goes straight there, so maybe we can go together??

I am getting so excited!

There was a girl a little while back that was from Canada who said she was on our tour, but i havnt seen anything of her again! i wonder if she is still going.. oh well..

How many pairs of shoes are you taking? and are you taking any hair straightners etc???

Is Contiki picking you up from the airport when you arrive?

i am working i am are manager for maccs and i have done a hairdressing course but i think i am going to go back and do a longer coures so i can get back into that field

I did book twin share, it would be ace if we got to share.. do you think that they would put us together seeing as we are both from australia and around the same age? well hopefully!

Shoes!! Pants!! tops!! i dont know!!! seriously have no idea! whats the weather like? about 23 or something yeah? i think with shoes ill take 1 pair of thongs.. for the shower.. some heels for going out.. even though everyone says not to cause of the cobblestone streets but o-well! Some comfy walking shoes which im yet to buy cause i really dont want to bring my runners. and another pair of open toed casual shoes.

Im not really a skirt person but i will bring maybe one or two. Pants maybe 4-5 and unlimited tops! Im thinking instead of jumpers ill bring a jacket to save on space, ill bring a black cardi though for the nights.

I work at a promotion company and basically run the promotions you see in the bottle shops around the top of the spirit bottles (send in 2 tokens and $$$ and you'll recieve---).
I am a little way through a uni course which is a bachelor of arts / criminology. but i have 10 years to complete that (fro home) and havnt done any for ages! im am nearly finished a teachers aide course. but really im not sure what the hell i want to do! I also have a little boy who will be 5 by the time we are in italy! His name is Riley and he's a spunk!

Have you looked at the Optional extras for our tour? what ones are you doing???

I just booked my tour as well. I'm going alone, too! :-) I'll be doing the Spanish Spree right before this one...so I still need to book my flight from Barcelona to Rome.

I'll be flying in October 15th (the day before our tour starts) as well.
