I'm 21 years old, and I'm from just outside San Francisco, California. I'm flying on AirCanada, going through Toronto for like 5 hours, and I'm going to stay 2 extra nights in Rome after the tour, is anyone else doing that too?

I will be in Rome 2 day before the beginning, i have looked at the hotel we start, the Giglio, and I won't stay there the days before, the price is 320euro for 2 days, I will probably got for an hostel, it's probably cheaper and more of a party place.
If someone want to join, or has a suggestion of Hostel, you know what to do....

Before Rome I will be in Amsterdam, and after at Cannes in south France, to take a sunbath. I am still not sure if I stay one more day in Rome after, maybe 2 days before is enough.
Hey everyone. I will also be going on the trip at this time. I guess I will introduce myself. My name is Kenric, and I am from Tennessee. I am 22 and I just graduate from college. I am really looking forward to having a lot of fun. I will also be staying extra nights in Rome. I think its 4, so if other people are too it would be nice to still do things together. I noticed that Lauren is staying longer is anyone else? Also, I want to mention I was looking over my stuff and we have to sign up for the David and Last Supper. I don't know if you guys have already done this. I did it the other day, but I couldnt sign up for the Last Supper. It is booked until I think it was July. You might want to hurry and sign up for David if you wanted to see it. It was about $21 I think (USD). I tried to figure it out on what day we will have our free time in Florence and I think it was on June 1st and I signed up for the 14:45 time slot. So if anyone else is doing it that would be great. I hope I didnt sign up for the wrong date/time. And if you do sign up for it be sure to bring that receipt they send to your e-mail. Its in Italian so I dont know what it says, but I think you need it. What are you guys doing during the trip? I mean the side trips? I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do and I was just looking for some ideas.
Hey Kenric, How did you make your reservation? On the internet or by phone? cuz I tried to book on the website and their site just kept showing error messages when I wanted to enter my credit card info.

Hey Lauren, It was pretty easy to reserve to see David. I did it over the internet. Do you have your Contiki thing that they sent you will the important stuff? One of those papers was a big fold out thing, and I also think you can tear it off. Do you know what I am talking about? Well, it was on there that I saw the website. Try this...this is what the website lead me to http://www.b-ticket.com/b%2Dticket/uffizi/ (be sure to switch it from italian to english if you cant read it like me) Then i click on the the "The Accademia Gallery" its at the top middle for me. Click on the "Buy" button. Then click "Buy" again...and it should lead you to a page that has a calendar on the right hand side. This is where you can pick the date and time of the tickets. So i picked the June 1st one at 14:45. Looking at it now it doesnt show any more openinings but you can pick a different time slot i think. I am pretty sure that this is the correct date, but you might want to check it again. I forgot what the next pages are but it is something like buy it then the page where you actually type in your card info is in italian, so i had to translate it. But i think it should work. i hope it works for you. I might have given you way too much information. I will check the forum again later to see if you had problems or something.
wow, that was sooo confusing in Italian. The website finally stopped giving me error messages, but since the payment page was only in Italian, I messed up and clicked the button that apparently means cancel transaction-LOL. I finally figured it out though and got a slot for 2:15 on June 1st, the 2:45 slot was full. I highly recommend that people use online translation sites before trying to pay for stuff in foreign languages! Thanks for your help Kenric.

Overall the website sent me 3 e-mails i think. The last two came maybe like 3 or 4 days after that confirmation one. I think you have to bring one of the other ones they send you because it says something on it like "bring this one" ha so yea bring that one. Too bad the other time slot was full. What are your plans for the other days you are staying extra in Rome?
